On Your First Visit

On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a general health questionnaire and medical history.

Chiropractic Examinations include the physical examination a medical doctor would do and additional procedures unique to chiropractic. Most of these procedures involve palpating the spine and other joints, muscles, and fascia for areas of abnormality. Acupuncture examination also includes feeling your pulse and looking at your tongue.

The extent of your examination will depend on the number and seriousness of your health concerns.

After your exam, Dr. Pearce will discuss your diagnosis and suggest a treatment plan or further diagnostic tests. His goal is to start treatment on your first visit.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out the paperwork. You should expect to spend up to an hour on your first visit.

Women must agree to chaperoned and will be provided gowns.

Subsequent chiropractic visits are about 15 minutes, subsequent acupuncture visits last about 30 minutes. Combined treatments last about 45 minutes.
